I was so surprised to find out that raw living foods actually taste good. I have made this raw spaghetti pasta a few times and it taste so rich and flavorful. Its amazing to me that you can create foods that are actually beneficial for your body but make them taste similar to the unhealthy foods we so often eat. This is a simple recipe, doesn't take long to make, loaded with health benefits Read Here, and can last a few days if you make a large batch. Now that's a win win.
What you need for the Spagetti Pasta:
A raw pasta maker I used paderno its only like 30$ and works great Order Here
Organic Zucchini's or Cucumbers (Zucchini has a better taste better in my opinion)
The Organic Pasta Sauce:
5-6 Sundried Tomatoes (I used pre-soaked in olive oil if you used un-soaked soak in water for 5mins then add 2 teaspoons of olive oil if you are using unsoaked sundried tomatoes)
8-10 cherry tomatoes
1/2 a red bell pepper
1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon of himalayan salt
1 or 2 crushed garlic clove
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
1/2 teaspoon of cayenne (for a more spicy sauce)
1 teaspoon of basil
1 teaspoon of oregano
Directions: Shred you zucchini using the pasta vegetable slicer. Cut the ends off zucchini and cut in half then place one by one on slicer. You can peel the skin or shred with the skin on its completely up to you.
Place your raw pasta in a bowl
Next place all your pasta sauce ingredients in a food processor
After you have your pasta and pasta sauce, combine the two and mix together.
If you want a warm salsa feel free to warm on stove for 1minutes or less and cover. (I didn't heat mine but some people prefer a warm sauce.
Enjoy your Raw Spaghetti Pasta :-)
